The Pastors Fellowship of South Orange County is a new generation out-growth of the South Coast Ministerial Association. This Association was lead for many years by the late Dr. Joseph Stephens, former Pastor of the San Clemente Presbyterian Church. The group was comprised of many highly respected leaders such as Dr. Harold Sala and the late Armin Gusswein. Pastor Joe Stephens transferred the mantel of responsibility for the work to the current facilitator, Ron Sukut, Pastor at Cornerstone Community Church in San Clemente. He and a dedicated group of local pastors have lead the renewed pastors’ fellowship during the last several years.
The emphasis of the Pastors Fellowship is to Glorify God through the Unity of the Church. The oneness of the Body of Christ has been intentionally fostered in many ways, through prayer and monthly pastors fellowship gatherings, combined worship services and multi-church training opportunities. Some of the most notable events we’ve held are:Monthly Prayer and Fellowship Luncheons, Community Easter Sunrise Services, Easter Together 2008, National Day of Prayer Observances, Global Day of Prayer Observances, Mayors Prayer Breakfasts, and many collaborated relief efforts and training seminars for local lay people.
